:)ĭoes anyone have suggestions as to how one goes about getting Genesis Plus to have some of these features? It seems like it has them, but getting them to work is eluding me. Super frustrating! If I could merge the two I totally would. I have tried placing them in the System folder under the RetroArch Directory. I have tried placing the drivers in a folder named bios in the games directory. picodrive folder, but doing the same with Genesis Plus doesn't seem to be enough. I’ve had a very difficult time getting bios files to work for Genesis Plus GX or PIcoDrive to play Sega CD Games. With Picodrive it's just a matter of dropping the bios files into the. I have read that Genesis Plus emulates Sega CD better, however I can't figure out how to get that to work either. Heres how to load a game: Click on the File menu, as so: Since Kega Fusion is a multi-system Sega emulator, youve got several options here. Genesis Plus fills the screen but its settings for analog controls don't seem to work (constantly registers a top-left button press when enabled) and neither does its toggles for auto fire. Picodrive comes the closest as it can do everything in that list except scaling the game to fit the entire height of the screen. The frustrating thing is that neither emulator seems to fit the bill. Fills as much of the screen as possible.PS: Maybe it can occur with other games on picodrive, I just don't know which ones.I've been struggling to figure out which emulator to use between Genesis Plus and Picodrive. For example, if the retroarch salamander is saying PICODRIVE, when you load a SNES Rom, it will keep saying can you look when you have time to fix it? You now have the (dis)honour to play Sega CD. Usually is the system folder, which can be located in RetroArch by going to: Settings->Directory->System/BIOS (look at the right column). I investigated it and the retroarch-salamander.cfg is modified after Knuckles Chaotix is closed. Then when you try to load Retroarch again from XMB it wont let open Retroarch, it always goes to XMB. The only downside is that if I remember, wherever you enter a new core, after running a rom, the image overlay that tells you that you are using a core will inform an incorrect core. Ensure that you have placed the BIOS file (s) in the correct location. Knuckles Chaotix (Dynarec on) on Latest Picodrive BUG When you close the content Retroarch goes black screen and freezes. So Knuckles Chaotix won't be able to write the incomplete line in retroarch-salamander.cfg. But if you load again Knuckles Chaotix, the same thing will happen.Ī workaround that I discovered is through FTP change the file attributes to read only. To fix this issue so you can load Retroarch again, you should delete the " it writes a incomplete path, for example: "libretro_path = "/dev_hdd0/game/RETROAR Instead of modifiying the line correctly to "libretro_path = "/dev_hdd0/game/RETROARCH/USRDIR/cores/picodrive_libretro_ps3.SELF" Then when you try to load Retroarch again from XMB it won't let open Retroarch, it always goes to XMB.
